Are safety precautions necessary?
In the Clinica Foguet we make many treatments with laser, surgery and non-surgical techniques and we take all the necessary safely precautions that are required.

Are there any contra-indications this treatment?
There are some contra-indications such as the presence of certain illnesses and of certain drug treatment that will be evaluated by the Clinica Foguet.

Are there any side-effects?
When we have finished the treatment there could possibly appear a light redness in the treated area that disappears in a short time. It is important to limit exposure to the sun after treatment and, with the advice of the clinic, you can eliminate complications.

 

RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE TREAMENT WITH CO2 LASER

  • Study, understand and follow all preoperative requirements that you have been given by the surgical team.
  • Stop sunbathing and using sun-beds for a minimum of 2 weeks before the session.
  • Tell the doctor if at any time before your treatment you feel unwell of have an infection such as a cold.
  • Stop using any creams that contain retinol acids. 

RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER TREATMENT WITH CO2 LASER

  • Use sun-blockers.
  • No exposure to the sun until permitted.
  • Apply all creams prescribed after the session.
  • Ensure that you come to the clinic for all your check-ups as stipulated.
